Greetings from Aleppo, the latest film by Issa Touma, Floor van der Meulen and Thomas Vroege, is awarded for the very first time with a DIG Award 2017. Greetings from Aleppo was among the three nominees in the category ‘Reportage Medium’. The award is reserved for journalistic reportage video, edited or unedited, of maximum duration 27 minutes. The reportage deals with, analyses and reports contemporary social aspects of the news and current affairs. Also nominated in the same category were the films Hitler’s Drug and Gun Nation.
